Folksonomies or Social bookmarking (e.g. Delicious, Diigo)
This is a direct lift from Mark Pegrum’s site (see side menu) introducing ‘folksonomies’ i.e. shared collections of linked resources. ‘Groups – whether educators, researchers or students – can work together to create folksonomies of resources on particular topics, with criteria for inclusion being negotiated by group members’.
It is a chance for students and teachers to work together to develop course-related resource sets – and to connect with other groups with similar interests.
